May the lights so bright above your body, give sustinance to your soul. May the fabrics you touch, and the soaps you use, and the medicines you take, and the places you look- remind you. Remind you that this day, you will bring life forth. This choice, this circumstance, is strength and power and honor. May each voice speak gently. May hands help. May observers honor you. Life bringer. Queen. This is your throne and there is no shame in putting on this crown of mesh and light. This child is blessed to have a mother who can face moments like this, and still hold them to her chest when it is through. This love will break your body and heal your soul. May every day from now be touched with the love you birth right now.
