My dear mama moon.
You are moon, you are sky, open and wide. Full of scars, and stars, and stories. Your skin is kissed. Your womb is full. You are life, you are magic, you are night. The secrets you will know are beyond count. They are learned in spilled milk, and leaking eyes. Between pages of day and night. In silent hours, and loud days. In baby yawns, and stomach aches.
These secrets will change you.
These babies, they know so much. The secrets of the universe. And for a short while, they whisper them to us. In little crys, little sleepy sighs, big eyes that look up at you... the same way you look up at the moon.
With wonder. With awe. With love. With magic and hope.
